King's Somborne Village Hall
Charity Number 301866

Jubilee Room

The Jubilee Room was opened by Lady Appleyard, the Deputy Leutenant of Hampshire, on Saturday 2nd June 2012, as part of the Diamond Jubilee Weekend celebrations.  Many thanks to all the organisations led by the Pre-school and the Somborne Society, that joined with the Village Hall to help the Jubilee Weekend get off to such a fine start.

The Jubilee Room will be available for separate hire as a function room more appropriate for smaller parties than the main hall.  It will normally be furnished with small tables and chairs but, if needed, larger tables may be provided for a formal dinner. The French windows may be opened to give access to the terrace and field. The hire rate is £7 per hour for this kind of hire.

The room may also be hired in conjunction with the main hall as a reception room, bar or buffet area for large parties in the main hall. This also allows access to the field and terrace, if desired.  When hired in conjunction with the main hall, the additional charge is only £3 per hour.
